The Problem

People Do not Have Correct knowledge of Who they are

Why?

Because they have a skewed view of Who God is.

So is this a case of which came first the chicken or the egg or rather:

 Is the basis of My Perceived Identify  due to . . .

How I See God?

or is

How I See God  a Result of How I see Myself?

In Reality it is both

Firstly

How you see yourself can create barriers between You and Our Loving Father

Why?

If You don't like yourself the mind is inclined to reject or deny the love, care and provision of others.

On The Flip Side

A seemingly self Confident Person who thinks, "Everything I Need or Want I Can Get" Has A Very Limited understanding of who God is and how much more He has for them.

 In many cases this is a defence mechanism. Why?

They are trying to protect their ego because they do not see themselves in the correct light.

In short it is this Identity Crisis in this Relationship that causes wrong or limited, perspectives.

So Do You Continue on Confused? or For the Most Part Not Even Knowing Anything is Wrong?

No

You Need to Build Faith

Through Hearing the Truth

and Repenting ....

Now Repenting is not what you see in the movies and is not a nonsensical self depricating activity

Iit quite simply from the Ancient Greek 'metanoia' means - to change ones mind

How Do You Change Your Mind?

Faith or Right Believing

Romans 10:17

So Faith Comes by Hearing, and Hearing the Word of God

2 Timothy 3:16

All Scripture is Given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction for Instruction in Righteousness


 From this comes Right Teaching in Particular  as above stated Instruction in Righteousness.

And What The Gift of Grace has Already Purchased for You.
